Georgia is the 29th most corrupt state in the country, according to a ranking by Business Insider based on Justice Department data, specifically the number of public corruption convictions per 100,000 people (Louisiana topped the list with 9 convictions per population segment.)

• The “State of Women in Georgia” is not so peachy keen. “Across 36 factors of economic security, leadership and health, Georgia ranks 41st in the nation for how women are faring,” according to a Center for American Progress report.

50th

Georgia is dead last in cost of automobile ownership, according to a recent Bankrate.com study. Or put another way, we’re the NUMBER ONE most expensive state in the nation for car owners!
